Sept 10, 2011, Sandream launched Marvel Tangerine, a natural mica based bright red-orange color pearl. It’s as bright as its Marvel Red counterpart. Both use multiple coating technology to make them much brighter than regular mica colors.

On August 1st, 2010, we outgrew our Chatham facility and moved to a new, expanded office in Fairfield with fully equipped in-house lab and expanded warehouse. The expansion will further enhance our service and technical support.

Aug 1st 2011 – Sandream expends their synthetic mica based Sachet 700 line into 10 different impressive colors.

In November, 2009, we contracted with a reputable US independent lab for heavy metal testing by using the most stringent method (Hydrofluoric Acid aided full digestion) for our cosmetic grade pearl pigments..

June 8, 2011, Sandream launched Synthetic Mica based Sachet Smooth Interference pearls in 10-40 micron range as well as three new Synthetic Mica based color pearls at <15 microns.

By the end of 2008, we established more than 350 special effect pearlescent pigments based on mica, synthetic mica (fluorphlogopite), glass (a borosilicate) and aluminum substrates. We have the most extensive line of Color Variable Pigments or Traveling Color Pearls on various substrates. The fluorphlogopite based SynMira and SynMira-Ice lines are very unique and impressive.
